I can only say about everything I've been following recently , from an outside perspective.

As per above, I genuinely believe if the democrats had backed one candidate over the 4 years they would be ready to win the election rather than fragment themselves months before trump wins again.

I get why they want to stop trump. I don't fully agree but I understand why they oppose him so strongly. From my perspective , it seems they have forgotten to unite to offer an alternative that will win over the voters .

Highly recommend giving anomoly a watch. An American who talks about all sorts of things including politics , with an unbias presentation of the information .

Seen a bit of that guys stuff. I do like it.

I also like listening to the OfficialHodgeTwins for a bit of a lighter view on the issues.

Estimates of ideology based on roll call votes pretty consistently put him at around the party median. He has some real stinkers on civil rights on his record that make it easy to tar him with the (R) brush, but his overall record does not reflect that.

Biden meets Trump strength for strength (old people and white men) while polling well with minorities. If you think Sanders would win, you're betting that he can turn out more young people than Trump can turn out old people, which is usually a sucker bet in American politics. The risk with Biden is that he could lose the contested demographics he's strong on to Trump in the general election, without the natural base of Sanders to fall back on.

Not a chance in hell I stay home come the general tho, there is a hell of a lot more at stake than just who President is. Just won't be devoting any of my time to any of it until that morning of.

Most people don't.

That's why Corbyn and Sanders get leathered all the time, because social media doesn't reflect actual society; it just reflects a portion of it.

That said, it's a free win for Trump over Biden. Hardly worth running the election.
