Biden’s platform is significantly more progressive than Obama’s was, and Obama oversaw the biggest expansion in healthcare in a generation.

I wasn't ignoring the tweet. It does concern me. Healthcare here is a mess.
Do you honestly think banning all private insurance is the solution?
For what it's worth, he probably wouldn't pass Sanders's plan due to cost, and he'd probably be right, it's unworkable.
He has also said he'd consider a public option.

Sanders, as much as he means well, would have NO chance of passing M4A. None. Zero. Zip.

Partially down to structural issues, yes, but also just as much down to his own decisions.

I don't opine so much on this forum about Brexit or British politics generally because I recognize that, not being British, I have limited knowledge and understanding of British public life.

By the same token, if you think M4A has any chance of passage and implementation in the USA in the nearish future, you're either not well acquainted with American politics or you're too well acquainted with Twitter.
