As a humble scouser not qualified on policy I'd suggest a good start would be a political party in power that shows compassion for the working class and needy in society, and had a health respect for my city and people would be a good start Pete. What say you?

I agree. Even further, I'd want a political party that allows businesses to start and grow and reduces unemployment, thereby increasing the tax take so that the needy can be fully looked after........

Seriously though, why do Labour think allowing Diane Abbott and Emily Thornberry anywhere near a live camera/microphone is a good idea?

For every decent thing Labour come up with this pair ruin it by opening their big gobs. Disastrous to think that people as useless as them hold such high ranking jobs.

Same goes for some of the government too. Frightening how bad the political spectrum in this country is at present. We have a choice of dumb and dumber.

The current political class really is the worst I have ever seen. I've expressed in many of these threads my contempt for many politicians from all parties, they really are pygmies compared to many that have gone before.......

In my opinion you have next to no concern for those in need, you've sold your identity out long ago sadly. Those advocating trickle down economics are more concerned about the economy and their own pockets than those who need a little extra.

I currently detest them all. Self-serving, power hungry rats to a man and woman the current lot. Problem is the mess that is Eric Pickles is retiring, so Diane Abbott becomes #1 Shitehawk Politician in my eyes by default.

No mate, I'm all for a community helping each other. The problem is that not all communities have the money or even the know how to help each other, so external funding is required and that requires economic stability and growth. For myself, I have already given most of my money away, I contribute regularly to liverpool hospitals and schools and I have very little concern for my own pocket........
