As someone Pete would call a communist, even I am embarrassed by Diane Abbott. Pretty sure I could do better myself (although I'm not prepared to sleep with Jeremy to get the position)

er - she was talking about (and this policy is based on) reversing the cut in Capital Gains Tax, not corporation tax.
yes she has just been on the DP BBC 2 utter shambles she lied her way through it very badly, did not know what level of reversal to capital gains tax it would be revered too - that will affect all home owners !

Abysmal reading this. How can people have such a disconnect with the club and the city?

All the Tories have done is try to destroy us.

Ashamed to call some of you blues.
It's a festering hideaway of Tory apologism. On an Everton forum. There needs to be more proportional representation of the politics of the fanbase. Labour aren't above reproach but this forum presently is just pot shots at Labour. Murdoch must be pissjng himself at the job he's doing on the working class, it's Goebells-esque.

Heseltine was like that bloke in front of the tanks in Tiananmen Square over that decision - in that his was a lonely defiance, and he isn't going to be stood in front of them next time.

Shame on you mate as a former scouser. Your ex city need a Tory government like a hole in the head.

Governments come and governments go. We now need one capable of negotiating Brexit for the benefit of the UK. Corbyn and co couldn't do this. Liverpool may well end up benefitting as a result of increased international trade with the rest of the world. Political dog whistles are not the order of the day, this is a serious moment of history and we need a competent government, not a miss mash of political ideology.....

Did you even read that account of the negotiations between May and Juncker that I linked on twitter the other night?

And international trade benefiting Liverpool? Like the tories throw money at Liverpool rather than planned degeneration.

It was EU money which helped restore the city to the beauty we see today. Stop forgetting your roots and take them Tory specs off Pete. You're addressing scousers on here, do you remember how that feels?
