So you're fine with Corbyn's supposed IRA connections then? Interesting.

Not this again. Corbyn is someone who has openly stated he wants to see a united Ireland, and his "IRA connections" boil down to going to Republican gatherings, and inviting Sinn Fein members to Parliament - at least one of whom had just been elected as an MP.

It is not as if he secretly gave them all get out of jail free cards, and wiped out their only political opponents in the nationalist community, as more electable folk would have done.

edit: though I posted this without seeing the context your post was in, so apologies

So what?

The utter state of this weak arsed tory apologism from a so called scouser on an Everton forum. I'm genuinely disturbed by it.

People are suffering Pete. Your own ex city where you were from are suffering. The tories aren't helping them. In fact they're cutting funding and services to them and those who need them most. I've got money in my bank too, it doesnt mean I forfeit compassion and identify because of it.

Jesus Christ what happened to you?

So what should be done about it......

I've got no problem at all with it mate, in fact as someone who wants to see a unified Ireland I appreciate it. I was just asking a Tory why he thinks scousers should move on from something that happened years ago when their favourite thing to do is bring up pictures of Corbyn and McGuinness from years ago.

Why do you wish to see a unified Ireland ?

Genuinely interested. What would you propose to resolve these problems.......
As a humble scouser not qualified on policy I'd suggest a good start would be a political party in power that shows compassion for the working class and needy in society, and had a health respect for my city and people would be a good start Pete. What say you?
