I agree, I don’t have sky as I go to every game home and away, I see Championship clubs are allowed to show their games for their Season Ticket holders.
I love the film but has anyone watched it with the subtitles? They’re so bad it’s hilarious, whoever did them can’t understand a scouse accent, Peter Reid’s subtitled description of the midfield in Munich had me crying with laughter.
The reaction Moyes got at that West Ham game annoyed me, the majority of fans were cheering the Man Utd manager. He got short shrift when he clapped the travelling support at Chelsea in his final game the week after.
Chelsea and the RS have been moved to Sunday, if they’re playing on the Tuesday in Europe they might switch their fixture with ours. No chance now of reasonably priced train tickets.
Of course the offence isn’t comparable but the ban then was a disgrace and our Chairman did nothing to help us, he didn’t want to upset the establishment and risk his knighthood. I think it’s so wrong the Park End now has his name.
If City are banned and that’s a big IF, then there’s nothing to say their place has to go to another English club who come 5th. They could give it to whoever comes 3rd/4th in Belgium or Greece or Turkey or basically anywhere
My first trip to Highbury was 1987 when Wayne Clarke scored, I saw myself down the front on Granada that night, it’s been downhill at Arsenal since. I was there when we won with Kanchelskis in 96 and should have won when Pienaar scored in the snow in 2010 but our record away to Arsenal is so...
The away end was crazy when Theo scored, bodies everywhere as they charged to the front. After the match Avanti put on a direct non stop train to Liverpool so back at Lime Street before 8.00, the sort of away day that reminds you why you do it.
Lukaku was the best goalscorer we’ve had this century by a mile (Yakubu is second and some way behind), how anyone can think Francis Jeffers was better is unbelievable.
The young blues bounce up and down singing in the bar under the stand up until kick off which is fine but that doesn’t happen in the stand when the game starts to help the team
I’ve seen us win 4 times at Anfield, twice at Arsenal, 3 times at Chelsea (including penalties in 2011) and 4 times at Man United but I am 50 and have been to all those grounds countless times. Our record away really is embarrassing
I think the second half was one of the most gutless of Everton performances, we’ve played there many times with less talented players but they’ve fought for the shirt, this group of millionaires didn’t care against a bunch of kids and it was pathetic and embarrassing. I agree the Tranmere result...
Kanchelskis Nov 1995- May 1996 is the best player I’ve seen play for Everton other than Neville Southall and I include all of the Rotterdam team in that. Rooney was incredible in 2002-03 and Lukaku is the best striker we’ve had since Lineker.
Oh I do like to be beside the seaside,
Oh I do like to be beside the sea,
Oh I do like to stroll along the prom prom prom where the brass bands play:
[Poor language removed] Off McMahon, [Poor language removed] Off McMahon, [Poor language removed] Off McMahon
I loved that from Ferguson, I remember Kendall doing that with Neil Adams in the Charity Shield and Colin Harvey with Stefen Rehn against Millwall, if you put someone on and they don’t do a job then haul them off
