I doubt that they would punish the Premier League for Manchester City’s offence. It makes no sense.

Everton, Tottenham, Manchester United, Norwich and Southampton were all punished in 1985 for someone else’s offence, have things changed that much?

If City are banned and that’s a big IF, then there’s nothing to say their place has to go to another English club who come 5th. They could give it to whoever comes 3rd/4th in Belgium or Greece or Turkey or basically anywhere

I don’t think City we’re ever catching them from day 1 so I’ve accepted that and it’s nice to see one of the dodgy elite getting what they deserve
