Can UEFA give the place to another country? I've always thought that England get 4 spots in the CL due to their coefficient and then its down to the FA to decide how to allocate them.

Can anyone confirm or correct me on this?

Its Man City that's banned, has nothing to do with the number of places the English leage gets.

Unfortunately when I looked deeper into the "admission criteria", it says "must not play their home matches in the L4 4EL postcode"

Well no one has died this time. And rightly or wrongly, hooliganism was considered a national issue in the 80s.

What City have done isn’t comparable to what they did.

Of course the offence isn’t comparable but the ban then was a disgrace and our Chairman did nothing to help us, he didn’t want to upset the establishment and risk his knighthood. I think it’s so wrong the Park End now has his name.
