Same. I've always said it.
The south stand lower should be a heaving mass of young scruffs who are jumping and singing and being as intimidating as possible, as close as possible to the players. Having wheelchair access in that location takes away that element.
First time at BMD tonight. Was in Village St.
First impressions:
I couldn’t have been more impressed based on what I had expected.
Atmosphere and acoustics were amazing at times. Up to the fans from now on.
It felt like a big stadium and a small intimate stadium at the same time.
One of...
I'm travelling to my first game in years next week. Any recommendations for good boozers in the city centre for Saturday evening? I'll try some of the ones near the stadium on Sunday & Monday. Staying in Titanic those nights. Might stay more central on Saturday.
Not our stadium. Its perfectly suited for singing. The acoustics are fantastic. The stands are steep and close to the pitch.
Ticket allocation is not a stadium issue, its a fan issue. Our fans picked where they wanted to sit. They were well aware that the south stand was planned as being big...
I've heard on good authority that Everton first club to wear a blank rectangle made of special material that tv companies around the world will use to superimpose their own regional sponsor using AI.
Its because our fans don't engage in the same way as the Dortmund fans. Don't sing and create the same atmosphere to make it a 'blue wall'. And the fact that 'we' aren't as densely packed in at the lower side. It's not the structure (apart from the wheelchair areas which take away from the...
I think the riser thing is being blown out of proportion here. The lower Gladys had a step in the days before all seating and had no roof covering The riser is essentially just a step.
I don't believe the riser is the issue, its the team quality and performance. Just like it was for most games...
I'm travelling to my first game at the new place for Leeds in two weeks. Can't wait. As we are on a downer and nit-picking, What I have noticed from TV is the South Lower always looks pretty sparse compared to other areas because it is a safe standing area. I think its because we use up less...
Looking forward to reading all the posts from the majority on here admitting that they were wrong to get their knickers in a twist about the club not building a 60k+ stadium.
Any minute now...
Theory: With Roma wanting to offload Ferguson, surely its worth taking a chance on him. He's better than Beto. Agree a deal to take over his loan and sell Beto. Re-invest that money in a fullback. Buy a striker (possibly Ferguson, if it goes well) in the summer.
