New Everton Stadium - Hill Dickinson Stadium

He had to sell to buy pretty much throughout his tenure, and even our record transfer fees were generally mid-level buys compared to the big boys. Unfortunately top level strikers tend to be the most expensive buys, hence the reason why we never had a one. He was the manager of the month twice in his final season and we finished 6th.... which I think was his tenth top 8 finish with a tiny budget and dysfunctional/impotent owner/board...... but I'm not sure this is the thread tbh.

He had sell to buy up to a certain point, then he had just 'sell'. But he got to reinvest a lot of the cash brought in from the sales of Rooney and Johnson and a lot of smaller deals done prior to 2009, as opposed to the sales of Lescott, Rodwell, Arteta.

Moyes had a net spend every season between his first full season in 2002/03 to season 2008/09.

Moyes was on board with Kenwright's savings after that though. He was at that stage (2009 on) casting about for a job elsewhere.

Lukaku was a massive lay out for Everton, but still dwarfed in terms of cost of top prices of the same period: Di Maria went to United for about £55M, Ozil to Arsenal for £42M; Torres to Chelsea for £50M.

On the bold, indeed - lots of off topic reports in this thread.

It's important the stadium thread is on topic - this isn't it.

Thanks

Question.

I am in the South Stand, can I get into the West Stand after the match on Monday to have a drink with someone?

It depends where abouts in the west stand. The corporate sections are located in tye west stand and there's no thoroughfare, its all closed off. Only the parts directly next to the South stand are accessible by the south stand concourse.
