New Everton Stadium - Hill Dickinson Stadium

Good to see, why are Scotland playing a home game in England?

TV coverage tonight appalling as usual. No other camera shots than the ambulance chasers name foregrounded against a sewerage plant.

So much for the 'Fourth Grace' promise.
Why does Anfield get special tv treatment of silence and you’ll never walk alone. We walk out to z cars and having commentary all over it and had one shot of the stand with all the flags up. Disgraceful.

First time at BMD tonight. Was in Village St.

First impressions:

I couldn’t have been more impressed based on what I had expected.

Atmosphere and acoustics were amazing at times. Up to the fans from now on.

It felt like a big stadium and a small intimate stadium at the same time.

One of the best stadiums I’ve ever watched a match in. Fell completely in love with love with it tonight.

Toilets in village st were immaculate. Sea Kelp hand wash FFS. Is nearly have gone for a s*** there.

Hard to believe it’s Everton’s home. All a bit surreal.

Thought the atmosphere for the 10 minutes or so after Barry’s goal was great last night. Best I’ve experienced in my 4 games, I think.

It was my first time in the South upper, near the back. Terrific view - there’s a strange foreshortening effect that the steepness of the stand creates. You do feel like you’re over the top of the pitch, even 60 rows back.

I loved the feeling of looking down on the goal - particularly when everyone got to their feet.

IMO the 1878 people should time it that all their flags are still raised just priorto the second before we KO. That way they'll get seen on camera. It's pretty much what the Kopites do to get past all that pre-match obliteration by team line up info on screen.

You need to go to Specsavers bud.

Some fantastic shots of the stadium tonight.

Well I tuned in from about 7.15pm and saw exclusively what I call our 'leisure centre' shot of that glass frontage from the vantage point of the Nelson Dock and ones from the same angle but higher up showing the stadium backgrounded by a sewerage treatment centre and warehouses on the dock road...oh, and a shot of the plaza with the ambulance chasers logo focussed on. If you or anyone else saw something different covered angles-wise to those where the city of Liverpool skyline was shown I'd be happy to see it.

The ONLY times you'll see this stadium covered properly will be at the Euros when the ambulance chaser logo will be ignored and the fantastic coverage of our stadium as the much touted - but never displayed by EFC/Sky-BT - Fourth Grace with camera angles emphasising the connection to the Mersey and city of Liverpool skyline will be on full and extensive show.

We are completely being overshadowed by the needs of a corporate sponsor. An £800M stadium of OURS being dictated to by a poxy local law firm that no one had heard of 9 months ago.

Tell me that's right...tell me I'm wrong....
