New Everton Stadium - Hill Dickinson Stadium

It is an excellent idea but I think the days of the club having that type of connection with the community are gone. That, sadly, is a reflection of the world we now live in.

Maybe mate, but it's also the kind of brilliant idea that if EITC knew about, they might just try and do something about. See the post below from @LouReedwalkonthewildside who isn't going tonight. 2 tickets just sitting there as Everton make it impossible for them to just give them away. There'll be a mum and son or dad and daughter somewhere going through a proper crap time, could be going tonight to take in an Everton game for nothing.

i think midweek games will be tough for many and we seem to be getting a lot recenrtly, unless we go on a decent home run i can imagine bournemouth and burnley being a real struggle

infrastructure needs improving, and a reduced ticket offer for midweek games needs to be in place

monday night just needs binning off too, at least with friday and saturday 8pm most people are off the next day
Didnt mind all them donkeys years I parked on Stanley Park and 15/20min walk to Goodison. Now as a Pensioner got to worry about getting back to Lime Street and missing the last train home of 40 miles. ( 10-50pm ) as theres chances now of 10mins of added time. 7-30 / 7-45 ko's would be better for me than 8pm. This must affect a lot of the fans with midweek games.

I wonder if this means they're struggling to attract as many FB+ members as they thought they would get?
I'd have bought one if they allowed members to buy an extra ticket. As it stands I don't see the value really and it seems a bit of a faff to coordinate ticket buying with mates. I tend to go to a handful of games a season (3-6) and I've managed 3 already without a membership. I also considered going tonight as it was open to non members. But in the end the lads I go with weren't available.

With all these late and midweek kick offs there's been opportunities to go and they will struggle even more so to sell tickets next year if it continues.

Granted I'm missing out on reasonable kick off times and some of the bigger matches. But it's not something I'm overly bothered about.

Why are we so crap at home?
