Are we in it now but have not yet realised it?

Does there need to be a central conflict for it to be seen as such?

Genuinely terrifying. Not for me but for my kids. We've ruined this. And the root cause is us all getting happy and fat living on an unsustainable credit bubble. When it crashed some people were suddenly poor and angry. They found their right wing voices and peddled lies on the Internet. Brexit, Trump and extremism across many countries. Without any great leaders the world has gone to the dogs.

I’d be worried about what scran is available once it all well and truly kicks off. Be arsed with rationing and that. One of the only things to look forward to as it is is what I’m having for tea. Don’t think I could cope with some canned gruel and a scruffy block of salted pork.
