Which use real scouts to collate data and build databases that top European clubs integrate into their data analysis

Its still people watching someone for a game or two and then giving him an arbitary mark out of 20 for his leadership abilities or whatever.

It's boss this scouting lark. An utter con.

I wouldn’t worry about this, the manager has already said when we play 4-3-3, he can either have 2 holding and 1 attacking or 1 holding and 2 attacking, this probably depends on who we are playing. Therefore Carvalho could line up alongside Gana, with Sigurdsson in front, or it could be Carvalho on his own, with Sigurdsson and Klassen infront of him

Idrissa Gana Gueye is looking like a SALE!

Ive been thinking about that a lot and i have come to the same conclusion.

Its a pity because i like Gana, his engine is terrific i just dont think he will offer what we are looking for enough from a defensive or offensie point of view.

I wouldn't be to disapointed if he stayed though.

Ive also been thinking of James McCarthy i think he stays.

Remember when Martinez first joined Everton?...

Some do it well.

Some go for Arouna Kone, Antolin Alcaraz, and Joel Robles.

It can indicate narrow vision.

I don't think it's a coincidence Silva's first player happens to be Portuguese.

I think Carvalho is a bit Sissoko and Evertonians won't take to a defensive midfielder with a languid style...

If Silva thinks we need better than Gueye (on the ball at least...), and as he's spoke about his number 6 being such an important position, then I think we need to do a bit better than Carvalho, there's a reason he's been coasting for years at Sporting and no top team took him. He's materialised as West Ham standard.

All that said, a good age - an international... not all bad, he'd do well for some teams clearly - I just don't think he'd be a good fit for Everton.

Maaate his play in that video is shocking , like worse than nyarko
