I`ve no idea who " Can fir " is mate, could you let us in on the secret ?
He clearly meant Can "for example " . As in the RS player who is going to Juve eg.

Are you stupid or what , perhaps it was a typo , perhaps he started the vodka early .

Did anyone on this forum notice that a certain Gareth Barry was lacking in pace and mobility?

He was soooo important to us by reading the game so well and sticking his foot in, breaking up attacks and with his passing and vision, starting counter attacks.

Well Big Willy can do all that and more so stop banging on about pace and mobility.

All aboard the Big Willy!

Can´t help with the state of our squad we should avoid slow players like the plague.

Carvalho and Sigurdsson in the centre would be last season all over again, slow slow slow.

Man he's slower than Mr Slow, from Slowville, Arizona...picture him facing Sterling, Salah, Eriksen, Hazard or Linguard on the break.
Taxi.....
We'd be better off signing Usain...

You obviously have never watched and studied a live match in your life.

There’s so much more to a proper number 6 than running around like a demented nobead.

Big Willy reads the game, sticks his big snidely foot in and breaks up attacks. He then had the ability to get his team back on the attack.

Something we have lacked since Barry got too old and left.

Picture him facing sterling, hazard, eriksen well Old slow knackered Barry faced all them and put many of them in his pocket.

So don’t bore me with your inaccurate, delusional, pathetic comments. Better still get off fifa lad and go and actually watch a game before you post utter crap on here.

Would rather we didn’t sign him, not mobile enough for me.

A concern also that he is still playing domestically at his age.

Only last year that West Ham were in for him, and us tentatively the year before. There doesn’t appear to be a big queue for his services.

Whilst this is true I think what we need is a powerful athletic midfielder alongside Gana, but I've also said selling schneiderlin and besic actually sees us with no actual defensive mid. Baningime is too you to have that much put on him.

He has 43 international caps for the current European Champions where he anchors the midfield in front of two ancient centre backs.

We need a deep lying midfielder who can start passing moves. He can do that really well.

Wouldn't be my number 1 choice but he is a realistic target.

Maybe we have to eventually look at a number 6 who is a midfield general who sits in front of the back 4, breaking up attacks, but alongside him have a dynamic strong box-box player, add in a creative clever number 10 and we would have a proper midfield.

Fact is we are not gonna get to this point in a single window, could take a year or so before we’re there but I’d like to see us start moving toward the end game.
