Will Everton EVER win the Premier League??

Personally I think the next decade is "pushing it" a little.

But things could happen and happen quickly, we aint a million miles away from having a title winning team IMHO.

Christ if Moyes had been allowed to spend more than the 5.6m he has spent over the last 11 Years, we would be even nearer.

WHAT?

I think we only need another 5/6 players to be challenging (obviously keeping ahold of everyone we've got now) I say only as if its something easy to do but you get what I mean

I think four.

The biggest challenge would be a transistion to CL regulars if we ever got to that position. Players want CL money as soon as you get there, genuine big, big clubs start looking at your best players and manager and the press pay a lot more attention to the goings on at your club.

I guess you would need to look at the squad and see who could honestly play for a Title winning team.

Baines, Gibson, Heitinga, Jagielka, Fellaini, Jelavic, Pienaar.

Bit early to judge Mirallas.

So that would mean.

15m
10m -- Heitinga -- Jagielka -- Baines
Gibson -- Fellaini
25m ------------ Pienaar
35m
Jelavic

Then another 50m on squad players.

Jobs a good un.

True, I wasn't thinking about money really though when I made the point. I think we need one quality right back, a goalkeeper, one/two central midfielders, a right winger, another striker in order to be challenging for the title (without taking into account other factors of course) just on the face of it we need those players to make a sqaud

Agree on the positions we need, just not the amounts Moyles would need to get us a top class player for it.

Agree mostly. Think Moyes is good at getting top players who can play a few positions well, which is why I said four.

Good effort mate. It harks back to that title winning season for the club that had the second choice striker for one of the major Eastern European nations scoring all their goals.

Fair play. I can think of a few versatile players that I would be surprised if they have never came up on his radar
