Why nobody messes with Big Dunc...

Strange how famous people get away with violent behaviour when most of us would have been dismissed or charged with Common Assault if we'd behaved like that at work.

Ya that temper is part of his game. Keane. Viera. Etc. We badly need some of that in our current spineless team on the pitch these days. Sendings off are no good i agree.
But Keane and Viera were absolute top players in their day and played every week because they looked after themselves.

They had that edge about them but they were utter class players and leaders on the pitch.

They say alcohol to a footballer is like putting sugar in a car engine, alcohol dehydrates the body so much and damages muscle tissue, hence why you see/saw the likes of Dunc,Andy Carroll,Jack Wilshere and Gazza having a career littered with injury because of their drinking/partying ways.

I remember seeing pics of Andy Carroll boozing back stage at Glastonbury weeks before pre season training, and when he was injured one time he had a carrier bag full of booze outside a kebab shop.lol

Wilshere has been pictured with a cig in his mouth and in nightclubs loads of times,he could have been a great cultured CM but he's just injury prone and regressed badly.

That article above about Dunc makes him look unprofessional,no regard for the club paying his wages,no wonder the guy was known more for his anger issues and a career spent on the treatment table than on a football pitch, they must be loads of anecdotes about Dunc littered throughout his career that won't see the light of day seeing as he was always injured he must have had loads of free time to be unprofessional.

Such a shame as he had the physical attributes to have been a battering ram of a striker like a Christian Vieiri, instead he showed his ability for about 2-3 games then broke down with a long term injury again, his body just could not cope with being a sports athlete,we are seeing it all again with Andy Carroll who has the same physical issues that big dunc had thanks to a career of boozing and not looking after his body.

We had Andy Hinchcliffe. You couldn't ask for better service.

To score 30 goals he would have to be on the pitch for way more that what he managed.

Yes but hinchcilffe was a defender who took corners. Excellent ones. He wasnt a player who put too many crosses in the box due to the way everton played. Rhino route 1 straight up to ferguson. Its was a straight line ball. Not a ball dunc could attack. Thats why i mentioned swinging crosses from beckham.

Love Jimmy Bullards' reaction:

sounds like he's a bit of an arrogant p*ick judging by this story, shame as I always thought he was hard but sound but throwing a table at someone for doing his job isn't just lovable rogue stuff

Probably exacerbated his groin strain and was out for another 2 months, he always seemed to be out for long periods with minor injuries for a hard man.

Saw something recently from Bullard regarding this, apparently Duncan was saying something like "do you want to have a go?" to the player he was arguing with (was it Scharman?) and Bullard said jokingly of course, I will have a go Dunc, apparently big Dunc was going to do Bullard in the tunnel and he had to beg one of the Everton players to convince Ferguson that he was only taking the piss.

Lot of cucks in here today.
When you're full of rage because your team don't give a *, it's good to see at least one of them giving it some welly.
I'll say again.. We could have done with someone like him last season.

Showing yourself up with this. Both for your use of chucks, and for thinking our problem last season was not playing with more self centred players
