Heitinga refuses to play fullback, so who else would you put there in the absence of Neville, Hibbert and Coleman? Heitinga needs game time, so it made sense to bring him in and move Jags to the right. Oviedo has is left-sided and has never played right back, so it would have been a big gamble to throw him in there against Chelsea. I personally like Naismith and he's liable to contribute a goal. DM could have tried Oviedo or Barkley on that side but they haven't played there for us before and it could have gone badly wrong if Ashley Cole was able to get forward at will.
I am sure I read that Oviedo did sometimes cover at RB in Denmark, but anyway I think he is a clever enough player to adapt. If Heitinga refuses to play at RB then Moyes should not pick him - his current form is not great anyway and I think Duffy could have done a job there, especially with Distin to look after Torres.
I just feel that Moyes is ultra cautious at times, in fact I am surprised he didn't go with 5 in midfield to match them up today.
poor marking and giving their midfield especially hazard and Ramirez all the time in the world
Hazard was kept quiet most of the game
...but he didn't do muchhe didn't do much when he had the ball but was allowed far too much time and space, especially 2nd half
