I don't wanna sound too harsh, because he's genuinely doing well for us this season. But he's not first-11 material. He even looked knackered towards the end, had only been on 20 minutes (granted, he just got headsmashed by his captain).
Jelavic, despite relatively poor form of late, looks like he's first-11 material...you can see it in his superior technique.
I'm happy for Vic, he's proved us wrong. We all (well, most of us) were incredulous when Moyes gave him that new 4-year contract in 2011, but as a squad player and handy backup, Mr Anichebe looks like a decent option after all. Good on ya, laddie!
