When will we start taking Victor seriously?

We play more average than good teams though.

Is true and is why he's scored a few this season.. Honestly I just can't understand the last 7 years of taking the p**s and then scoring 5 against average teams being enough for so many to think he's great.
If he can do it now, he could of done it previously.. And if he's good enough, why only against poorer teams?
I appreciate we need the goals and he's getting them I really do, but that doesn't erase the past for me.
Hope he continues, if he keeps going and gets double figures then I will be happy.

Vic is a good player for us now and is gonna be a very good player.
Great that we were singing his name last night.
Think the more support Vic gets the more confidence he he will gain and his game will also improve.
Can not understand why people can not see his qualities.
I certainly wouldn't wanna mark him

Along with Coleman the pair of them have vastly improved this season. Thought both should be sold on but they're are becoming useful players. Good stuff.

Has attributes which can make him useful to us. Unfortunatly, he's a massive tit. Sort it out Victor. You're making serious money at a top flight club in English football. You have all the girls you could possibly want, not to mention a banging body and (forgive the racial stereotype) a massive wang. You have no reason to act like a prick.
Hmm sounds like all the reasons to act like a prick!

I believe the only problem is he mainly scores from coming off the bench, when moyes thinks hes done enough to start he plays awful and lack the passion and aggression shown from when he comes off the bench. But after last night i would much rather have him om the right than Naismith as he was generally awful, this is just when Mirallas isnt fit though.

How is him coming off the bench and scoring a problem mate? That's the beauty of the Vic for Naismith sub.... defenders get using to marking a small, nimble, little blonde Scotsman and get used to his style over the course of 60 to 70 minutes. Then big Vic comes on and it's apples vs. oranges. The defenders can't handle the change, and don't adapt to his style of play. Crazy to think that Moyes might actually know what he's doing (weird that).

Thought he was excellent against Chelsea playing wide right at times, he held the ball up well and won aerial battles, he did everything that was expected of him.

Thought he was superb by his standards. Sent a text to my dad saying "When did Vic become a player?" he was that good.

To be fair to him he has looked twice the player this season than previous years. Just has to continue on the upward curve.

wouldn't go overboard about Victor what age is he now 24, he is along time here
more bad games than good won't be long till we will be back giving out about one
of his no shows.

hope he proves me wrong and goes on to score 10 or more goals this season don't
think so. rumour has it we are after Charlie Austin

Last night, for me. Starting to show a little more consistency and has been saying the right things in interviews too about professionalism and working hard, using jags and baines as what he wants to be more like

personally i thought he shouldn't have been dropped from the starting 11 yesterday but when he came on he did the perfect response ...scored and played well

still not a big fav of him but credit where credits due but its about time he re payed EFC with some consistency

BUT if naismith continues to get the nod over him( wrongly) hes gonna go back to be the inconsistent VIC we all know

24 is young for a striker of his type.
Power takes time to hone.
People have a pop at him because he was good enough to break through at 16 and has been around for so long.
Vic's time has come

its not so much his age its this falling down like he was hit by a train or his mouthing to the ref if he is beating to a ball, maybe it is Vic's time
