When will we start taking Victor seriously?

Hes had it in his locker until 09. But since then hes had injury, a cob on, fell over, and couldn't finish 90minutes. He was also very, very unintelligent as a forward player.

For some reason hes pulled it out his locker again and improved the above. He can keep the work rate up and he seems to stay on his feet and use his strength.

The biggest thing is his improvement on and off the ball, and his movement in the box.

I dunno if Jelavic is helping sort that side of his game and to use his head.. But seems to be working

What age is Vic does anybody know? He's one of these mythical 'young' players. Much like Osman until he turned 30.

Usually his game means we play with 1 goal up (when he scores) but 10 men on the pitch because he is one lazy fker.. No amount of goals in the last dozen games makes the previous years not exist.
Having said that the more he plays to the same level as everyone else, the more he will be accepted on the same level as everyone else.
Today he still ran less than players who had been on the pitch all game but he tried, he went for it (mostly) and to be honest, even when things go wrong for him, I felt much better about him being on the pitch because he at least showed a little effort.
There have been dozens and dozens of games where if the ball isn't exactly to feet he either fell over or just shrugged his shoulders and walked the other way... That is simply not acceptable or something to criticism fans for not welcoming imo.
He scores goals ace.. as long as he also plays the other 90 minutes of the game.

I'd agree with this. Since he came back from that bad knee injury (at Shoecastle) he's just looked an all around more intelligent player. During that time they must have strapped him to a chair Clockwork Orange style and made him watch loads of clips of good forwards. Or a lobotomy?

Attitude's defo improved, but I think the other thing is something he's said himself. He's benefitted from being around Jelavic and watching a striker making good runs into the box. Tonight's goal was a prime example. I can't believe I was disappointed he didn't start tonight and was glad to see him come on. I would have said the complete opposite last season.

Does he have a twin brother ?
