When will we start taking Victor seriously?

To be fair his all around game has improved a lot. I think after he put all that muscle on he wasn't really comfy with his size. Now he shows glimpses of a being a proper footballer as well as scoring the all important goals.

Doesn't get injured for 10 games straight, and picks his workrate up. He's getting better though.

Might have a change of attitude coming on too, when him and Tiote were pushing around today, he didn't back down, used his titanic frame and glared right back at him. I want more of that please.

You hit on it right there. Spot on. Face it, Victor is a brute, and played the game at times in years past like Rainbo brite. Every time he hit the pitch and started to writhe at the nearest official, I'd have to yell "get up and play football, Victor!!"

Once more, the excellent footballer playing the role of Victor Anichebe today has my permission to stay on and give us what he's got. He's not a kid any more, and it's time Victor sees the light. Hopefully, he can fulfill all that promise Davey saw long ago.

Built like a linebacker, that one. Get in, Victor!!

He's sorted his attitude out and as such, the fans are warming to him.

Never a question of talent, just application.

Gonna go on the record and say this now. I've never been a fan of his, and when Wolves came sniffing last year I wouldn't have minded him walking, but I gotta say he's really becoming a valuable member of the squad now. If he stays free of injury for extended periods, we should be keeping hold of him.

I wonder how much Nolan's assault on him a few years ago had a knock on affect on his development. He was out for 11 months with the initial injury, had subsequent problems with that restricted his appearances to a handful. That's a lot of football missed for the age he is.

Needs to keep doing it over a few seasons, 7-8 games is great but lets see if it lasts

Made up for him anyway, Seems to be getting his head down and fighting for his place, Long may it continue
