Introduce more youth. Last couple of managers were poor for it.
I'd take a centre half who can read a game over someone who's more physical and stronger in the air, a la Michael Keane.
It's central midfield that is crucial. We didn't have players on Sunday that were prepared to keep trying to find spaces to receive the ball and relieve the pressure on the defence from Liverpool's lung busting attackers.
I don't know how this will go down, but Emre Can at Juventus is looking for a move. He is a mercenary and left Liverpool after his contract expired, but he is a decent footballer and has a good engine (not a great injury record though). He's still young <25 I think. If he's a cheap transfer fee, he'd be worth a gamble.
Center midfield, with Gilfi and Morgan there we'll lose alot more games than we'll win, both are too slow, you can get by with one being slow but not both you'll be punished more often than not.
That was my first response when I saw the title of the thread! His underpants - what a state they must be in after that terrifying experience
Yea West Ham Watford southhampton Chelsea we won and he played well in them gamesThere is that, do we win when Walcott is playing?
