I’m sure if he sacked Allardyce and signed up Silva now, we would be hearing from watfords lawyers. Would be argued that silva tanked on purpose and has apparently had an awful attitude since it happened because we had made an illegal approach but were saving us money and he gets compo for being sacked. Don’t think even Moshiri is that stupid.

Pay Allardyce off, 8m tops.

We could swop Allardyce for Siva and save 7m to get the choice Moshiri wanted all along.

At the very most I can imagine Silva will be told to wait till summer and see what happens but I think they’re giving Sam a fair crack of the whip, especially with the signings we’re making and the money we’re spending
