His own fault if he really wanted to come he just had to make a statement to that effect or even take the extreme step and resigned.But I'm sure his agent pointed out that doing that would cost him.Greed isn't always good.

Funny thing is BFS apparently did the same with WHU when he realised he wasn't getting a new contract extension... tanked their season from December onwards.

Exactly.

No sympathy for them. They ARE right 100%, though. Everton's approach DID crater their season and the manager was gutted not to be allowed to join us. But they had a massive compo placed under their nose and tried to tough it out when the answer was to let Silva go and for them to get the next one in their managerial list in through the door.
