The man has never lost a premier league game as manager. Name another candidate who can say that?

That is unless Moshiri hands the job to Van Gaal after Unsworth goes on a 14 game unbeaten run.Unsy's going to whack Niasse up front, Lookman on the wing and get Tom Davies playing like the new Makelele again. Once he slaps the armband on Seamus, we're winning the league next year, you heard it here first
Fair enough. We will agree to disagree. Neither of us really know if his appointment will be fruitful until we see it, so it's a waiting game for now. I think he will be okay.To be blunt, no he doesn't deserve a shot.
From my perspective, he is our academy manager and only that. He has no other managerial experience and no experience of even serving as an assistant in this league. The level of football is much more lower than the premier league so competitively his recruitment would be no different to a league 2 manager.
Yes we won the league against the money clubs under unsworth, but then I doubt the United city and Chelsea reserves have world.class players in them like the first team do, or play against stokes and west Brom tactics. I have seen games myself and the standards are so much lower.
So no I don't believe he deserves the job as he has nothing to prove he could manage this team to the level we require and he would be far more than just a gamble at a time when we need to be showing ambition.
I'll take someone who is gifted at man-management over a clever tactician any day.
Whatever the long term future holds, and all honesty Rhino isn't my first choice, but come the next game, seeing rhino, joe, dunc and ebbrell on the bench gives me a warm feeling
If all of that was true then anyone with a bit of club passion would be a good manager but that isn't true. The right man is the right man. Koeman had tons of experience and so did Bobby. Experience isn't everything. Putting players in positions to succeed and getting them to bleed for the shirt doesn't take experience at the highest level. SAF's experience was in the SPL before he took over United for instance.

Bob Paisley 6 league titles, 3 European cups, 1 UEFA cup plus a few league cups.If all of that was true then anyone with a bit of club passion would be a good manager but that isn't true.
When was the last time even an assistant let alone an academy manager in this country even made it as a manager? I know pep was a kids coach and jose was an assistant but that was at Barcelona , when was the last time in this country anyone had any success stepping up from such a position?
What about Paul Jewell, Dave jones, Peter Reid, Lee carsley ? They are all blues pretty much who have managerial experience much higher than unsworth. Why don't we hope for them as well? Sure they would jump at the chance of a job
Er, every manager who hasn't managed in the Prem? Me? @Donald Twain ?
