It was a yard over the line the liner took up the wrong position -it was so much of a goal EVERTON STOPPED to celebrate the goal weak ref as well he must have seen it was over the line by a yard the defender was well inside his own net easily a goal, but that assitant also ruled anopther perfect goal out by Felli aswell!!!!!!!!

The game of football is crying out for video referees to be used.

I'm tired of seeing so many shocking decisions in games. I don't blame it on the refs\linesmen all the time because it's not always easy to decide or see certain incidents but that's exactly why FIFA 'have to' bring in some form of it.

Every major sport has some kind of video tech other than football, the biggest sport in the world .....

FIFA are so corrupt\inept it's a joke.

To be fair we should have won it in the first half. We dominated it and only scored the one goal.

But the ref was rubbish.

Something needs to be done about poor refereeing in this country, it seems like every week you're seeing shocking decisions and performances from officials yet nothing is getting done about it. Either refs need to improve their refereeing (HA, and pigs might fly!), how referees are allocated games is changed so better refs get more and better games and poor refs drop down the pecking order where they can't do as much damage; or we just get rid of refs almost entirely and have computers fill every position they can then have one ref in the stands with links to all of the cameras in the ground so he can see the game from every angle to pick up the slack from the computers. Seriously, having non-players on the pitch is an archaic idea that hasn't been needed at the top level for years considering there's at least 10 cameras watching every game.

Wasn't the referees fault it was his linesmen ****ing shocking. Pretty sure he didn't play advantage because there would have been a riot if they scored at the other end. Other than that i think the ref contributed to an open flowing game of football imo. To bad i can't say the same about the linesmen.

If Pienaar would have squared to Osman instead of shootin at the end of the 1st half we would have went in 2-0 an prob would have won the game in my eyes......yes the linesman needs beatin for his mistakes but to be fair the chances we had in the first half we could have been out of sight

The game is played at such a fast pace. Decisions are split second, and subject to human error. Of course we dont like it when a decision goes against us. Don't blame the refs, blame FIFA for not acting sooner. Maybe they weren't offered enough of a "sweetener" (allegedly) by the tech companies to go for goal line technology earlier, but they have to get on and get it installed yesterday.
