I'm still wondering at the lack of nail bars painting the Ukrainian flag when Crimea was invaded,and maybe the colour scheme of the Georgian flag might not have had the same appeal.

South Ossetia / Georgia was too far away, and with Crimea there was a lot of belief that Russia was correcting a fairly recent historical injustice (albeit in entirely the wrong way). The baffling lack of serious reaction was to the MH17 shootdown - the failure to acknowledge guilt there should have resulted in actions being taken then to diversify energy supply.

It's sad that in the modern world outrage at the deaths of innocents is social media driven.

With their constant arming of Ukraine, I cannot see Turkey abandoning Ukraine and NATO. SWE and FIN will be full members come November methinks after the exchange of concessions.
