Reading that Russians made breakthrough in Donbas around town of Popasna yesterday.
Also Zelensky admitted they tried to resupply Mariupol by air but they lost 90 percent of pilots in the process, one of the reasons why they allowed surrender of the remaining garrison.
So many things going on we don't hear much, Ukrainians suffering terrible losses out there too

Yesterday it was big news that Russians managed to break through Ukrainian lines at Popasna, threatening to encircle thousands of Ukrainian troops, it was all over the the twitter and reddit, with Zelensky saying that Donbas is hell
But actual situation on the battlefields, hard to to really know, you get more usual sexy Holywood stuff reported, like individual artillery strikes or tanks destruction (naturally) biased toward Ukrainian side. But actual big picture and wider status of front lines, quite murky, not a lot of sources

Saker proved to be more on the money with Russian intent during the takeover of Crimea from my recall.
However he is a pro-Russian analyst. If he's talking about taking Odessa, then that's the mood music he's being paid to play. Guess what's next on Russia's list of places to takeover... it'll be no surprise of they go all out for Transnistra and take the coast.
This isn't ending soon I'm afraid.
