Big meeting happening today at Ramstein airbase involving all NATO members and also Ukraine Sweden and Finland will be present.

On top of additional goodies for Ukraine, word is that Ukraine will be moving over to NATO standard arms and ammunition. This is mainly due to Ukraine expending massive amounts of legacy Soviet weaponry and ammo. So expect to see Ukraine taking delivery of:

155mm Arty and AN/TPQ-36 counter-arty radar systems

- PzH 2000 SPG
- CAESAR SPG
- KRAB SPG
- ATMOS SPG
- M109 SPG

5.56 x 45mm standard nato ammo (allows. Shed loads of small arms to be shipped to Ukraine).

Overall it means NATO will be able to remove the roadblock of old Soviet calibre ammo/weapons and very quickly supply Ukraine with the weapons and ammo it needs to defeat Russia straight from NATO’s vast weapon store repositories.

I'm hoping one of his cabal will pull the trigger on him rather than him pushing the button on Ukraine. I think we're edging to something disastrous now.

If he gets his corridor to Crimea and Ukraine doesn't get weaponised, then he can sell the victory back home. That's if we don't want to go down the brinkmanship route. Ukraine would require something extremely substantial in return though - reparations, accelerated membership and be under NATO/ western protection if not full membership- and even then I think that would not suffice unless it came accompanied by a filled in 6ft deep Putin sized hole in Moskva cemetery.

Well, yes. It also relies on them being listened to. I still don't think we're at the point of disastrous escalation, however. I'm also surprised it's taken Lavrov that long to start rattling his sabre over NATO countries (Not NATO itself) arming Ukraine.
