Basically in the US pretty much everybody is furious with Russia, and heavily backing and supporting Ukraine. I mean I know several people who are Ukranian, who have family in Kiev, and at least in this area thats not that uncommon. In general people in the US arent into the blowing up children as much as Putin seems to be. You always have outliers but its a very small minority.

Literally had friends post a photo of their random WV neighbor now proudly displaying a Ukraine flag because its just that widespread. Biden seems like he has some kind of late stage mental issues leading to that kind of stuff, but it doesnt really impact the general US view as to whos to blame and whats to be done. Id say easily most americans view it as proof Putin and Russia as it is currently has no more place in the world. Theres definitely less daily updates than over there in europe as it is a bit more removed(for now), but the view is pretty similar Id say.

Ultimately, the west will not deal
With Russia again while putin is In charge. Rather than point the finger at Biden, all western leaders should be saying that putin need to go, making sure that he and the russian people are aware that Russia will remain firmly in the cold until he’s gone. Again, it’s kind of obvious

I could imagine fellings in Russia right now, even when wrong, they will stick with their view, simply because of nationalism and national pride and anti-American bias.

There are certainly people in Russia against war, but i doubt there is enough of them and that they are organized to change anything. Hate of Ukraine and belief that they are just American puppet is strong there. I checked various Russian forums and sites with Google Chrome translator and skimming through comments majority believe their cause is right.

I agree with all of this, it is common knowledge. I do not expect any one in Russia to suddenly become Pro-American, the point I am making that exposing them to the realities of the situation created by Putin can only be a good thing as far as the west is concerned. There has been a huge information war from the west and Ukraine in the last month or so, and Russians will be getting exposed to more truths than they had for the last decade or more. Yes, our truths are not their truths, but, our truths are their lies, the lies they are being fed. I do not think it will topple Putin, but it will further isolate him.
