Yeah, I see that as a further sign of their desperation. It was purely a fluff move by Russia to back up their 2018 Fluff Putin press conference where he claimed to outline Russias new superweapons, which may or may not(more likely may not) actually be real and work. They probably have very few of those actually functional due to oligarch siphoning of funds and lying about "yeah it totally works sir Putin" to avoid getting in trouble.

The video Russia sent out allegedly showing them use the hypersonic on the west of Ukraine actually just shows them blowing up an empty farm building in the east, and the US also said they were able to track the missile. Russia is a disaster right now in every facet.

Not really. They have about 20k more regular troops but that’s about it. Navy and Air Force are about the same. We spend more every year on defence (against GDP) than the French.

From experience, I’ve got a lot of respect for the likes of the 2e REP and 1er RHP. People who criticise the French army usually don’t have a clue.

It’ll be for other reasons.
