I don't think they'd turn a blind eye to an attack on NATO soil unless there was some real mitigating circumstances. A prepared assault would cause escalation.Yipes bombing sites 15 miles from NATO territory. I know NATO doesn't want to get involved in this, but if the bombs dropped the wrong side of the border, would they still turn a blind eye to what's going on?
They've shown unity with their sanctions, and as many members are part of NATO I don't see it as too unlikely they'd work together. The suggestion that the EU would operate as one in any kind of conflict with Russia…..

Imagine the defence organisation of the EU - NATO - has North American members? And so far, the UK has stood back and done comparatively F.A. regarding this warI don’t care, it was just the ludicrous suggestion that they would that amused me. Imagine a world where the USA, U.K. and Canada just stood back and minded their own business. Now tell me, as you suggested, that the EU could rein in or face down Putin and Russia….
But this is what you wanted, so I don't know why you didn't renounce the NATO participation tbh.Just have to get replace of the weak one at the top too and it could be a perfect storm.*looks at the Tory cabinet![]()
If only that zip line was 15 miles away from the city centre of Kyiv, that sight would make any army turnaround.

However, why are you in this thread, like, for real? What's the point of this question you posed? I'd understand if you contributed, or even opposed the positions of the war/Russia/Ukraine/whatever - you're here to tell us the EU sucks. Great news mate, 10/10. There's an entire thread to deal with that, Brexit as well.
There's posts before and after the one you quoted with a lot more information worthy of debate, yet the one you picked is "the EU working together". This is "davek's manlove of Martinez" levels of bizarre.
Not a direct threat to their homeland but did any EU members of NATO support Tony's Iraq adventure? The suggestion that the EU would operate as one in any kind of conflict with Russia…..

I think any NATO/EU country attacked will defend itself with its partners. Not in Europe any longer.
Do you think Spain, Greece, Portugal and Italy would be keen to support a military strike on Russia?
