Disgusting human being.

Also such a surreal (and Stalinist) display of power - that's the head of the intelligence services, arguably should be one of the most powerful people in the country.

But gets laughed at while being told to sit down, like a misbehaving child. In front of the other "leaders" lol To boot, this is close to the invasion, so it was clearly already known that would happen. It's not a shock that his intelligence is poor of everyone's a yes man at this point.

Also this was aired "live", but someone noticed while watching the full thing that it was pre-recorded.

"I wanna see the Russian side of things". There you go. Direct from questionably "live" Russian TV.

Right at the start of the invasion, I mentioned how dictators like Putin, Stalin and Hitler surround themselves with weak individuals, and this is a testament to it.

Any figures of strength, who could be deemed a threat to their power, are kept on the periphery while the close members of entourage are puppet men.

He doesn't trust his spy chief, he's removed senior military commanders - the similarities with the past are striking.

I said that a while ago, but honestly believe it more with every passing day - the difference between the Russian leaders and the West/EU/Germany is that Russia is the only one looking back and trying to rekindle the history; everyone else wants to go forward and show innovation and progress, which usually leads to more freedom.

And people genuinely think Russia is full of decent, just misunderstood people.

Can’t

You can’t cast the net so wide as to blame a propagandised population for the actions of a corrupt, paranoid, expansionist, oppressive government.

That video is an example of the people BEING DECENT by protesting. The police are merely carrying out the desires of the state.

You know, you're absolutely right, and I thought about the same and about editing it (can't now though) - I even mentioned my Russian friends in the next post ffs. Having a 'mare.

Honestly hope that none of the actually decent people who haven't drank the Kool Aid and know the truth manage to escape this regime, or you know - hope things get better after Putin kicks the bucket.

With some exceptions....
