Sadly it seems to me that the Russians are softening up the cities before they make their move, food running out, no water , no medicine can only imagine it will get desperate soon. All the while Russia continues to tempt the West to do more and bite so they can justify an act of war. Its going to be a war of desperation and attrition. What collapses first, Ukrainian sustenance and resilience, Western resolve or Russia's ability logistically to manage the operation or keep their economy afloat. Its all at delicate stage of brinkmanship & attrition , desperate and cruel from a Ukrainian point of view.

How would that work? By force? Good luck with that.

There is what happened in Germany after the war. Loosly speaking Russia could be sanctioned for years to come
once the Putrid regime is gone. It all depends how far this goes, and how far 'the west' want to get involved and
how far they want to punish, punish maybe not the right word, how far they want to impose changes to Russia
post Ukraine-war.

Punish the population over too long a time and it will ignite further hatred of the west and be a breeding ground for the next maniac leader to rise up. We cannot dictate to them to remove their nuclear weapons, all you hope is organically it becomes something all parties want to do.

BUT RUSSIANS GOOD, ONLY PUTIN BAD!!

I’d assume Russians have a range of views on the topic and that many will be supportive.

However videos like that aren’t really a representative sample are they - even if I was a Russian against the war and had badly felt the sanction I don’t think I’d admit it to some random stranger video taping me, especially with the new law about “fake news” resulting in 15 years prison.

Russians overwhelmingly support this war, it's not up for question. Russians genuinely believe that they are "denazifying" Ukraine. A lot of Russians also believe that Putin should invade the Baltic states and keep expanding westward.

Russians are not compatible with 21st century imo.

Well we'll have to find some way to coexist, because tens of millions of people and their cultural background isn't going away.
