I can't see Russia actually trying to land grab the entirety of Ukraine and Transistria. Going to be a tremendous task.

They don't have enough boots to hold it if they take it. Truth be told, having enough boots to hold Kyiv and everything east of the Dnieper is very questionable.

I don't know why we would no longer offer a hand to people in trouble. Bold statements have been .are during previous conflicts and commitments to help displaced people? I don't get it. Honestly I feel bad for people both sides.

Yes which is why he may consider the military/police state option - improbable though it may seeem - because he knows if his troops withdraw they’ll just overthrow whatever he has installed
