You can’t control a population of 40million who will willingly die for their freedom.

It’s unwinnable and the more I look into it the more I think Putin has lost his mind.
And he's going to level a city soon, you watch

And I think that starts WW3 or at the very least another cold war

Whether that's all out warfare - well let's hope not, but if we thought the last two years were bad then yeah, we're probably in for a lot worse.

Hoping against hope, obviously, that it doesn't come to that.

But there's no doubt, Putin needs getting rid of. But that has been the case for 10 years.

Need to preface these questions: I am against all war and my heart is with the Ukrainian people, as it is with he Russian soldiers compelled to fight this war

Do you think Ukrainians will ever be independent or will Ukraine just end up either in NATO or Russia?

Do you think it was inevitable, once US and European interests/markets were able gain advantage in Ukraine at Russia's expense, that Russia would go to war?

Satellite imagery company Maxar Technology says that earlier reports indicating the column of Russian armour advancing on Kyiv is 17 miles (27km) long are inaccurate.

The convoy actually stretches about 40 miles, according to Maxar.

The company added that new images also show ground troops and attack helicopters in southern Belarus, less than 20 miles from the Ukraine border.

NATO doesn't make countries not be independent though? it's just a bloody alliance - one that Russia could have been part of. They aren't perfect, far from it. The West aren't. Nobody is. But we're looking at something totally different here.

No it wasn't inevitable that Russia would go to war for those reasons. The only reason is because there's a lunatic dictator in charge of that country. He's rigged elections, killed off political opponents, invaded Georgia and annexed part of Ukraine previously (long before any talk of them being in NATO). He is obsessed with the return of some form of the Soviet Union, it seems.

You know who was top of Russia's hit list for a good few years - may even still well be? The bloody doctor who was on that Icarus documentary. He is currently - and has been for some years - hiding under witness protection in the US. For a doctor who revealed a doping scandal...

This is what we're dealing with here. No need to play devil's advocate.
