Probably the same situation as in Russia and the US under Trump and may other countries. Only yes men/women are put into any position of authority. Anyone not giving to complete loyalty to the glorious leader(Trump, Bojo,Putin) is thrown aside, regardless of ability or competence. This is mental. Russia aren’t going to launch 500 warheads at once and why would the US target China without them escalating the situation?
