I'd rather they sorted out human rights abuses yes. There is no freedom of dissent allowed. Erdogan is an absolute disgrace and a bully. Let's not be making him out to be a decent, well intentioned person.

Are you mad? Straits are important, if we cut the route for his navy, incredible moral boost for UKR.

And Erdogan is off anyway next year, lost Istanbul and Ankara in the local election. All polls show him losing.

I don't have crystal ball and this is anonymous forum, but there are a people from a lot of countries around the world who got bombed to oblivion by Western bombs and drone strikes and who see massive hypocrisy in all of this.

America and European countries mocking Russia while themselves being guilty of war crimes and bombing civilians not so long ago in Afghanistan and Iraq

Theres massive hypocrisy in all of this, and a targeted attempt to re-habilitate the crimes of the UK/US & NATO.

No I'm not "mad" for being critical of a brutal dictator who commits human rights abuses. He is not someone who should be any sort of ally.

But I suppose we can add Kurdish, academic and womens lives to the Iraqi, Somali and Yemenese lives who dont seem to matter much.

Lots of fear being struck regarding Russia’s increase in nuclear readiness. Irresponsible from POOtin - YES….but credible - NO. It’s just posturing, and unconvincing at that.

He has no need for nuclear weapons in Ukraine. He could level the city’s with artillery, missiles, and conventional air strikes over a few weeks if he wanted to go all in.

Nuclear weapons have no military advantage other than to deter an enemy from using them against you. The very meaning of “Mutual assured destruction“
