I'd imagine they'll have as many problems as the Ukrainians did with the ethnic Russians in Donbass. Another few generations minimum.

TBF, my question wasn't a trick either btw: I genuinely wanted to see if there was any evidence of North Korean troops on duty in Russia.

It's reported everywhere that they are there and that this is Biden's justification for handing permission for LR missiles to be used. So you'd think there'd be something tangible to point to in that regard.

The BBC unwittingly had it right the other day: "[The claim] appears to be backed up by the appearance of videos on social media showing men believed to be North Koreans in Russian uniforms, at what appear to be military training facilities in Russia."

It's this sort of craven client journalism that people are reading and believing.

This conflict has boosted the separate Ukrainian identity to unprecedented levels; there’s no going back in the box after this unless unimaginable circumstances come about that dwarf Russian or Ukrainian identities. I just wish people would have pointed this out to Putin beforehand; he’s driven that wedge in himself rather than anything the West did.
