And can't use it as to do so would mean they cease to exist a few minutes later.

And this is what people forget. Russia has a population of 144million, so about the same as U.K. plus France who between them have over 500 nuclear bombs. More than enough to wipe out the whole of Russia even without involvement by the USA. It’s suicide for any nuclear nation to actually bomb another nuclear nation. There are no winners, they are a deterrent and that’s it…….

However, they could easily do other things that could potentially pull us into war. I'll ask anyone, how much motivation do we honestly think we have to go and fight some unnecessary war in Eastern Ukraine? I'm not convinced people want that, when you strip it back.

I'm fact, however ludicrous and selfish it probably makes me sound, I can't think of anything I'd rather do less.

Which is fair enough, but it's a difficult line, as we don't want to do anything to be dragged into the war.
