I don’t think that’s true, there’s plenty of regular contributors who are very well up on the evils of western imperialism and it forms part of plenty of conversations

Same as many CA threads you’ll get bits of nonsense and bickering, dumb trolls and also really interesting info and points of view

Same as with who replies to any post, you might get sarcy responses but you’ll also get debate

Give your opinions, and yeah you might get flippant replies from some but there’s plenty who will discuss

I don’t think that’s fair mate - plenty of posters are critical of US and UK foreign policy - particular in the situation of Gaza and Israel.

The reason that people aren’t critical here is because Russia are the aggressors, and even outside of Ukraine are an incredibly brutal state. Additionally they’re using proxies to do plenty of pillaging in Africa themselves.

That's silly. You can have the views, but you should expect to be challenged on them as it goes against the status quo that an invading force are the culprits in a military conflict. That's on this forum or in real life.

Of course, in Russia you're not allowed to have views that go against Russian Imperialism, because you'll fall out of a window.

There's probably a lesson in there.

I think in this thread there’s maybe a bit less tolerance of a different view than elsewhere but also that maybe those alternative views aren’t always raised in a way conducive to a discussion

I was genuinely interested in @supertoffee98 input and suggestion that Ukraine shouldn’t hit back into Russia, but I could understand if the assumption is that they are only going to get ridicule

There are some flippant responses but most just seem to be missing the point about the UK's role in arming Ukraine.

In all fairness mate you've given decent responses and I've read yours because you said you didn't think I was trolling, I got about 20 notifications after my first two posts and couldn't reply to them all. Again though nobody actually wants to discuss the issue of the UK arming Ukraine and people keep trying to side-step that on here to ask what me what I think about borders and my thoughts on military tactics.
