Coming from you that's hilarious. Think you'll find my stance has been a political solution for a long time. The ones who argue with that need to do some basic reading and to stay away from the Kool-Aid,or maybe walk the walk and join the Ukrainian Legion?

I'm not arguing. I'm just stating a viewpoint. As I said there are plenty of people with specific military intelligence experience who have long stated that this war can't be won by either side. The sensible thing then is to look for a political solution,but then sadly there is too much money at stake,so lives of ordinary people like us no longer matter. If you're concerned about mental health of posters on the forum there'll be one along soon enough I'd imagine who's far more deserving of your concern.

I'd probably agree with you if it was ever shown in history that appeasement has actually worked.. any peace agreement has to ensure that Russia aren't going to re-arm and come back again in a few years. Russia has to make consessions to end a war that you have said nobody will win... what I can see happening is Russia gets the land and Ukraine comes under NATO protection but not as a full member.

I'd see something similar. I'd imagine after a ceasefire negotiations would involve China US etc.China would take the opportunity to be seen as the equals of the US as peace makers in their propaganda.Putin will hail it as a total victory which everyone will ignore. Then NATO will pack Ukraine with armaments and enough "instructors" to make another invasion highly improbable. The alternative doesn't bear thinking about.
