You'll be bracketed with the Lexiters like Larry Elliot in the Guardian as long as you start whining about "austerity" whilst pandering to people who want the rest of the EU to pay their way for them - like Cameron and Larry with the British rebate and the Polish truckers. I'll say it again: when Poland joined the EU, truckers in Western Europe moaned similarly. They had to suck it up. What makes the Poles the exception? We all know where a sense of exceptionalism got the Brits.
Tusk is a standard centre-right politician. His economic policies aren't necessarily mine - but against the Catholic fundamentalist, kleptrocratic PiS altermative, who've simply spent EU money buying off the votes of rural backwoodsmen and undermining basic democratic norms, he's a bastion of decency.
You really need to stop aligning yourself with people like Putin and PiS-supporting Polish truckers. I mean, what could they possibly have in common?

How am I 'pandering to' and 'aligning' with Polish truck drivers?
I've stated what they are doing and what the effect it will be on Ukraine - along with the actions of their Slovak and Romanian counterparts.
