This was February:

"U.K. Ministry of Defense said approximately 40,000 to 60,000 Russians had likely been killed in the war. A leaked assessment from the U.S. Defense Intelligence Agency put the number of Russians killed in action in the first year of the war at 35,000 to 43,000."

By all accounts Wagner lost about 20,000 men in Ukraine.

I suppose in proportion to their numbers the claim that non-Russian Army fighters have taken the brunt of casualties holds water in that respect.
Depends if the MOD figures included DNR/LPR/Chechens/Wagner/Other PMC’s/Convicts or just regular RUAF personnel

I really don’t know - but if I had to commit I’d say non-regular forces fighting on behalf of Russia have taken the brunt of the casualties thus far.

Now there is a situation whereby PMC’s are now integrated into regular RuAF. DNR/LPR forces are mostly combat ineffective, they’ve run out of convicts and the Chechens keep running away so anyone doing the fighting and dying now will be regular RuAF.

What the actual human numbers are I couldn’t say. I don’t really believe any figure I see now. Vehicle losses are a different matter as they can be imaged, geo-located and recorded.

Isn't that what @ramacca said and then you asked him to do more research?

It seems a decent shout tbf.

I think there was a fair amount of spin and bias on his post and a gloss-over of the RuAF losses they’ve taken.

Regular RuAF have taken a lot of heat. For example the 1st Guards tank army got slammed in the battle for Kyiv, so much so that they were withdrawn back to Russia to be reformed. Then they got trashed again near Kharkiv last November, after which they were again withdrawn and have still to be reformed as an active service unit, such were their losses.

Yes non-regs have taken a hammering but so have regs

Really can’t see ‘them’ letting him get back in power.
If the legal stuff doesn’t do for him, I predict a heart attack or similar debilitating / fatal medical emergency before the elections.
I think that it might be mischief making but there is lots of chatter that Putin has had a heart attack and was found on his hotel floor. The amount of disinformation going around it is probaly just a yarn.
