You could certainly split that into what sides would be for WW3.. Like was predicted many years ago (by who I forget), that WW3 will be fought against Islam!

Frightening thought. And we appear to be edging closer...

Well Russia and China certainly aren't Muslim countries. I'd say the fight is between the 1st world and the upcoming 2nd world.

It is I am sure avoidable but the countries of North America and Western Europe will have to shuffle to the side to let the others at the table.

Probably the last thing that will be ramping up for Ukraine is support unfortunately for them.

It would be crazy to not keep back resources that potentially will be required elsewhere in the world. If the Russian forces in Africa push that over the edge I can see direct involvement from the west. If the middle east erupts then we'll be forgetting all about Ukraine.

I don't think Europe, or the US will be forgetting a war on mainland Europe. Putins tactics will be to try a deflect attention elsewhere but I'm not sure that the baltic states and the like will be distracted or allow the EU to be.

The US have issues in that Putin has almost certainly compromised the GOP and Russian disinformation will be heavily targeting the US, and everywhere else. If Russia wins in Ukraine a full blown WW3 will be a lot closer.

Zelensky's opportunistic seizure on the Israeli attacks to support the Palestinian's oppressors will see the vast majority desert or at least mute their support of Ukraine.

There's big credibility damage suffered from that act.

And that will never happen, they'd rather we all die than lose superiority. And we won't have any choices but to fight even if we don't believe in it

The left is not the vast majority in this country, Dave. The same for many western states. The Palestinian activists in the west tend to be a fringe minority including the local muslim population.

Maybe if the western media was more forthright and had regularly shown the truly emotive end of what has been happening there would be a swing in opinion but sadly people are fed their own local nonsense. It helps to keep us all in line.

I'd hope that with a better grip on our disgusting national press and maybe a few tweaks to the school curriculum that the majority would be consistently be left or centre left. Maybe one day.

IIRC the polling on attitudes to most important social and economic issues in the UK consistently show the public to be left of centre - and decidedly so on some issues.
