Lockheed Martin is an American aerospace manufacturer - when there's a conflict their share price rises, and often they are relied upon by the US government to be the producer of choice for the next rounds of military spending.
Re TSMC chips, they're Taiwanese produced and a very important component of the vast majority of modern day electronics.
156 F-35's aint no small order. Got to sell the technician training and the armaments as well. Tip of the iceberg this. I wonder if it'll mean there'll be interceptors that head off russki aggro approaching Scotland before the RAF have to.

Happens more regular than you think.

The Russian Alabuga complex is said to be “more potent than a nuclear bomb.” The Russian Federation is developing a missile equipped with a high-frequency generator of immense power, intended to neutralise the enemy without firing a single shot.

In the West, Alabuga is referred to as a “secret weapon” described as “more potent than a nuclear bomb,” capable of “disabling entire armies.” This electromagnetic missile has the capability to disable all enemy electronics within a 3.5km radius.

“The military intends to install these weapons on the latest Russian drones to deter enemy aircraft. Additionally, such a system can be used to destroy missile warheads and communication devices on airplanes. Furthermore, it can block the automatic loading of tanks, detonate artillery shells inside the gun turret, and eliminate enemy soldiers hiding underground at depths of up to 100 meters using radiation,”

I remember reading that a 50k sorti in the Russian spy plane cost us 500k to respond. If they wanted to get value for money they'd pass close enough to scramble all the Scandinavian and Finnish air response.

Probably about Russia's most effective military manoeuvre if those figures are even half right.

Just like how we never unleashed Magaye Gueye. So secret and effective a weapon, we dared not use him.

The White House/UK assumption is that staged 'media event' attacks on military and civilian targets in Crimea somehow puts pressure on Russia to agree to a frozen conflict.

They imagine that Russia has a spectator political culture like the US and overestimate the impact of breathless announcements of attacks has on Russian opinion.

As of now, I see no such concern amongst the Russian population.

A miracle weapon!

This thread has been totally ruined and derailed. It used to be interesting to read as certain posters were linking lots of daily updates etc. Its now just full of pointless arguing and garbage.. Shame.
the only daily updates being posted were pro-western propaganda being regurgitated ad infitnitum.

those are not updates.

well they are of a sort, but not balanced ones.

I think those orders will have favourable payment terms. As you mention, it serves us well to put extra 'barriers' in place between Russia and the UK.
