Just to game it out, do you think that Biden is behaving incompetently because of Trump?

Is he unable to act due to Trump? Is that what youre saying?

Biden could be doing more, of course. As could every other country. No point just America going all out if nobody else follows.

The one thing I think leaders are worried about is certain actions may cause WW3 and nobody at all wants or benefits from that.

Worrying thing is are we just delaying the inevitable. Putin seems to be threatening Sweden and Finland now so are we just kucking the can down the road.

Youre not hitting the 'poor' youre hitting the entire country and its simply a case of "we do not want to trade with you due to the attack on Ukraine".

I dont think its stealing when its freezing asssts of federation/Duma members...then what i was alluding to was seeing if any have been illegally gained (alot will be i imagine) and if so use them to repatriate funds to Ukraine.

The assets will of course be in hidden offshore accounts...were not talking about the everyday man/woman.

But with respect mate, you are talking about taking their assets and giving them away. I am not really in favour of that.

There needs to be a massive collective action otherwise its pointless. We have seen Italy carving out luxury goods and Belgium carving out diamonds from any sanctions. Germany worried about their gas, Boris not wanting to target his mates/backers.

Its exposing leaders for what they are. But I also understand the hesitancy in some ways. One wrong move by someone could lead to WW3.
