Excuse me, you've inverted this somewhat haven't you?

I'm the one who wants a cessation of all hostilities and a peace deal to be struck and all casualties to be halted; you're the one who wants the destruction ttinue.

How do you get it arse before elbow?
Amen brother

All you need to do is renounce the modern Hitler and call out his colonialism and imperialism without going off track i.e. whatabout innit.

Nukes are somewhat irrelevant. The USA and Russia have thousands each ,ergo end of planet. The likes of the U.K., France and China only have a few hundred each, but if attacked by Russia means the end of Moscow, St Petersburg etc etc. no doubt some in the far east may still be around, but pure Russians like the rest of us will be toast…China will then take over what remains of Russia and the world will move on without Putin, the Kremlin or whoever. Meanwhile in the real non nuclear war world,Russia is getting its arse kicked by a country a quarter of its size, slowly I’ll grant you, but nonetheless steadily. Meanwhile Russia is hiding behind its mines and tank traps while Ukraine moves forward. Have you not twigged that it’s Russia behind the defences, a Russia that cannot move forward and one that will be pushed further back every day…anyway life is too short to try and explain this to you….
I just laughed in your face with a load of typical msm/western propaganda stock phrases/word salad.

And you parrot them back to me in deadly seriousness

Clown.

You really do miss the point don’t you. NK is just after cheap stuff from Russia while selling crap arms to them, but it’s still a very small country. Meanwhile NATO is ten times bigger than Russia. Yes you can point to any individual country and say not very big, but the same can be said with all of the regions of Russia. Meanwhile that 10x figure doesn’t go away. Russia is finished, the image of it as a ‘super power’ is well and truly laughed at, its a regional power getting its arse kicked in Ukraine, one step at a time…..
I can see Russian being broken up even more when this is over..

This is from the NY Times and underlines why Trump will be almost impossible to shift in the primaries short of sitting in a prison cell:

Basically he'll get (maybe grudging) support from those who are not fanatical about him because they share his and his supporters views on policy. Only a quarter of Republicans are completely against him.

It would take a huge turnaround in fortunes for Trump not to be on the Republican ticket come the general election.
True. But on those figures above he hasn't a prayer against Biden. If a quarter of the Republican electorate won't vote for Trump - and more than a quarter of those again would vote for Biden over Trump, then it's very hard to see how he can win a presidential election once the campaign starts in earnest.

As FiveThirtyEight say: "Trump’s indictments for his efforts to overturn the 2020 election, meanwhile, could have additional political costs, particularly if he wins the Republican nomination. GOP primary voters might not care about allegations of interference, but general election voters are another story: Two studies of election results in the 2022 midterms found that the Republican candidates for the U.S. House of Representatives who received endorsements from Trump or voiced support for his election denialism performed worse than Republican House candidates who did not."

Don’t forget it’s a gas station with nukes, running out of weapons next Tuesday, using dishwasher chips to fix military equipment. Putin dying of cancer. Digging trenches with shovels. Running out of food. Putin is dead. Running out of fuel. Owned by China.

Anything else I’ve forgotten?
Out of interest, if Everton are losing 4-0 to Man City with 10 minutes left, do you convince yourself that we are still a chance to win?

I disagree - as said above, all the rest need to do is coalesce around a candidate and then threaten to refuse to back Trump. He can’t win without them, and it’s the tactic he is using against them (ie: threaten to refuse to back anyone else).

He’ll fold, probably quite quickly.

Well, maybe so. But then again, maybe not if current polling on a Biden v Trump presidential election are to be believed which runs neck and neck. That's because Biden has an approval rating of just 39% and the latest CNN poll shows why:

They're not capable of that. They have different agendas / policies which means that they cant simply deliver their supporters to a single anti-Trump candidate. And in any case their hatred of Biden would see most of the other candidates supporters hold their noses and back Trump again.

FiveThirtyEight also said this:

Not having a prayer? Again: the results in key swing states are too close for comfort. It's wishfull thinking he'll fade away. Defeating him will require blood sweat and tears

Certainly has turned into drone warfare.

Wonder if this type of conflict can actual be settled by drones alone. I guess not.
This war is all about infantry, drones and artillery. The ukes haven’t been able to properly use their western supplied armour to any real effect and the Russians have had their heavy armour systematically wiped out.

Meatgrinder is an apt term for this type of warfare.
