Horrendous CCTV footage and reporting of a creatue, seemingly Sergei Mamontov, a councillor from Putins ruling 'Unted Russia' party running over a child and driving off.

The child is now in intensive care with a broken hip and a head injury.

If these are the types of people running Russia it is no wonder that it has descended into the worlds pariah state.

I saw the video and I was horrified. The absolute state of Russias political elite.

I mean our lot are shocking but running over kids and driving away, condoning and encouraging Russian soldiers to rape, screaming for nuclear war at every opportunity take things to the lowest level.

They’re not human - they are indeed stinking orcs, as are normal Russians who allow them to do so.

Just to clarify, this is some sort of big training/processing camp in Kazan for people conscripted from all over Russia? and some of them got drunk so they put them in a cage in the middle of everyone? Is it to make an example of them? Seriously, why do this?

They are indeed. I can’t quite get my head around the Russian public. Either they are completely stupid and brainwashed or they somehow find a way to separate themselves from the actions of their politicians and military whilst still accepting that kind of behaviour.

The Iranians (particularly the women) are showing how spineless the Russian population truly is

TBF they aren't. The Iranian populace are dealing with a regime that was unpopular beforehand, and which has just committed one senseless act which has wound nearly everyone who is related to a female up. On top of that they've killed more women and kids whilst also failing to stop any of the protests or (more dangerously for them) the non-compliance.

The Russian state hasn't (yet) done anything equivalent to the Russian people - in fact, what they've done (rallied the people around a "threat" which they've overhyped for their own ends) is basically Nationalism 101 and it is depressingly effective; we've seen it work multiple times here for example (indeed that was what Johnson was trying to do when he was going to Kiev every few weeks).
